Loma Linda participated in a 5k race to support Donate Life-an organization that promotes organ donation. Since running is our theme for 2012 Breanna and Barbie jumped at the opportunity to particpate. Luke and Doug had a bet going on as to who could finish fastest (Luke won) so they joined us in our run as well as Barb's friend David. Mom came down and watched Eleanor and Aslynn while we ran and they had a good time seeing all the different booths that were set up. Breanna reached her goal of running the whole 5k and I had my personal best. It was a great family fun day wrapped up with dinner at BJs.

The afterglow of a run makes us feel so hot...literally and figuratively.
